About Rustic Canyon
Rustic Canyon Wine Bar & Seasonal Kitchen grew from a series of dinners held inside a beautiful treehouse of a home nestled in Rustic Canyon, an intimate neighborhood carved into the mountains of Santa Monica. Every month lovers of quality food and wine gathered around a long, candlelit table to share the joy of a meal created with thought and passion. New friends were made. Stories were told. Favorite new wines were discovered. Rustic Canyon Wine Bar and Seasonal Kitchen is an extension of this, a neighborhood restaurant and wine bar, where friends near and far can come together and celebrate the best things in life: great food, great wine, and great people.
The Food
Rustic Canyon offers a regularly changing menu of Farmers' Market-inspired dishes with ingredients that come from local farmers, ranchers, and fishermen who practice sustainable agriculture. The dishes at Rustic Canyon draw their influences from all over the Mediterranean.
All of the food at Rustic Canyon is made and plated with sharing in mind, so that you can order for the table and taste different dishes. Come with an open mind and empty stomach, knowing you are getting food of the highest quality and imagination.
The Wine
Rustic Canyon's wine list focuses on boutique wineries from around the world. Owner and proprietor Josh Loeb, formerly of Capo, handpicks the selections focusing on small producers whose stories he and the staff can share with you. Rustic Canyon offers twenty options by the glass that rotate on a regular basis and an always increasing list of small production offerings by the bottle; every time you visit, there will be something new to try. Rustic Canyon also offers a large selection of sparkling cocktails emphasizing seasonal fruits and imaginative ingredients.
